Photolocations

The pictures that I use in this blog will be made by myself. Here you will find a list of all locations. They are all worth being visited ;) IMPORTANT: On some SIMs you should change the basic environmental settings, to support the athmosphere at these places.
That's how you change it in viewer 2: Open World - Environment Settings - Environment Editor and click on Advanced Sky. "Default" is the standard-setting. There is a dropdown-menu, where you can choose another preset. You can also costumize the settings - thats what I do most of the time. If I used some preset setting, I'll mention which one I used. If I dont indicate a setting, it means I have used one of my own.

  • 0001 - Empress and Hierophant  (Never seen a rainy day in SL? Have a look here... / light setting: Blizzard)
  • 0002 - Al Naifah  (Kind of transcendental... very romantic / for most of the pics I used some personal setting, and for others: Sailor's delight)
  • 0003 - Several locations: For me it was very difficult to find a good location for underwater-pictures - as I actually never made that kind of pictures before. I realized, that in SL the view under water is as blurred as in RL. So I tried to find waterfalls with fullbright/glow-effect and was standing right under the waterfall, so there was always a light shimmering through the water surface which gave that effect on the pictures.
