About this blog

  1. This blog is about Second Life fantasy fashion. Now, whats fantasy fashion? Thats a question of interpretation. In the case of this blog: It can be stuff, that has clearly been made for creatures like fairies or drows. But I will also write about other styles of clothes, if it is possible to co-opt them for elvens or deamons. Im not picky ;) BUT: Someone asked me, if I couldnt write about casual wear in general... for a larger diversity. Clearly: NO! There are so many fantastic blogs about casual wear or haute-couture, that it is not necessary, that I write about that too... I dont want a higgledy-piggledy-blog ;P. If you are not looking for fantasy stuff... then this is not the right blog for you :)
  2. There are not going to be daily posts - sorry. Im just too busy for searching items, changing dresses, searching photolocations, making pictures, collecting SLURS and writing posts every day. Im quite new to SL, so I still learn how everything works, and it takes me quite a long time to prepare a blog-post.
  3. It is not a blog, where you will always find the most recent freebies. Probably I sometimes even present you items, that are available for free since a couple of months... if I think its worth writing about them.
  4. There will be bad grammar and a poor vocabulary. Sorry... but Im not a native english speaker and I never spent more then a week in a country where people were talking english - so, I had not many opportunities to practice! I write this blog in english, as I can reach more people, if I dont write the blog in my mother tongue ;)
  5. This blog is kind of a one-girl-show. You are interested to contribute to this blog? Send a notecard (inworld) to Zahra Pherala. It would be great to have some help.

ABOUT THE PICTURES:

Yes, I use photoshop, and nope, the pictures are not "photoshoped" in the way you probably may think. I take high-resolution-snapshots to the harddisk. As I have a widescreen, my pics are always too large. Thats why I have to cut them to a usefull size. Thats actually all I do in photoshop. I dont add effects or anything. If you want to make that kind of pictures, you have to: a) use a nice location and b) change the lightsettings. Thats all...
